Silver Plated Buddha Statue - Bhumisparsha Mudra

This silver plated brass Buddha statue is in the pose of bhumisparsha mudra. Bhumisparsha means "Touching the earth" and symbolises Buddha's enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree. The mudra is always from a seated position with the right hand resting on the knee, fingers pointing to the ground. The left hand is holding an alms bowl.
