Red Elm Dining Table From Hebei - 19th Century

This Chinese painters table is ideal for use as a dining table - made from Red Elm and dating from the mid 19th century. It comes from Hebei Province & was originally a painters table used for painting Chinese calligraphy.
The brackets that frame the table are known as "Giants Arm Brace" and are classically indicative of the Chinese Ming period style.
