Exceptional Quality Jewellery Box from Rajasthan - 18thC

This beautifully preserved Teak Jewellery Box  is a real stunner.

It is an exceptional quality piece with very fine chip carving both inside on the drawer fronts and on the outside.

The internal drawers which are accessed by the fold down front are very unusual.

The original orange tika marks inside the drawers and lid have been preserved.

Certainly a wonderful collectors piece that is both useful and decorative.
