Painted Wood Lamp Base (Barmer Style)

This beautifully hand-painted Indian table lamp is crafted in the traditional Barma style, celebrated for its distinctive shape and richly decorative finish. The gently flared form is adorned with intricate floral motifs set against a dark ground, with warm red banding adding contrast and definition. Each lamp is individually hand-painted, giving it a lively, tactile quality and ensuring subtle variations that make every piece unique.

Though modern in manufacture, the lamp draws heavily on traditional Indian design, combining heritage aesthetics with practical everyday use. Rewired and ready for use, it works equally well as a bedside lamp or decorative accent, bringing warmth, colour, and character into any interior.
